The Double D4 Fun Run took place last Friday, May 30th at 6:30pm along the Sandymount Strand.
As background, Nicky (Nichola) Doyle, who was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27, whist going through treatment had the idea of holding a fun run to raise awareness and funds for cancer research.
The fun run has been a huge success since the outset and has helped to raise vital funds for cancer support services. This year proceeds of the race went to CCRT and the Irish Cancer Society.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who took part and helped to raise just over €20,000!
