Fighting Cancer Triathlon

ABOUT

Each year in Ireland, over 20,000 new cases of cancer occur and over 7,500 cancer deaths, accounting for almost one quarter of the annual death toll. The Fighting Cancer Triathlon is wholly focused on raising funds for the Cancer Clinical Research Trust. Fighting Cancer Triathlon is in its fourteenth year and has evolved into the hugely successful event. It is an independent, self-­financed, event run by the members of Midland Triathlon Club, with a completely voluntary organising committee. Nobody associated with this event is remunerated, as all funds raised go directly to the CCRT.

In this time close to €1.5 million has been raised for the CCRT by up to 300 participants who take part each year in the triathlon.  For further information, please reference the flyer below:
